Assembling the Quilt
9 Lay out the blocks as shown in the diagram, grading the colours from bottom right to top left and alternating the blocks in the same colourways. Always make sure you are positioning a block with dark corners next to a block with light corners.
10 When you are happy with the layout, sew the blocks into rows and then sew the rows together. Press the blocks in Row 1 to the left and the blocks in Row 2 to the right, so that the seams nest together nicely when the rows are sewn together. Pin at every seam intersection to ensure a perfect match.
